Who we are
Finnproof is an independent Finnish proofreading and translation service specialising in Finnish–English language work. We work with SMEs that sell internationally and researchers who publish in English. You have one contact person from start to finish, so you never have to explain things twice.
Why Finnish companies
We know the mistakes Finnish speakers make in English: missing articles, compound nouns carried over from Finnish, wrong prepositions and words that look right but mean something else in English. That's why we find them in your texts too, and we can explain each correction in Finnish if you prefer.
How we work
Every text is read by a person. We may use tools to help, but a person makes the final call on every word. We quote the price in advance, keep to the agreed schedule and deliver with all changes visible so you can check them yourself.
